May brought the Butterfly Scheme to Noble’s Hospital on the Isle of Man, where the scheme’s implementation has been sponsored by the Alzheimer’s Society. Sue, who had cared for her mother with dementia, manned the Alzheimer’s Society information stand and showed off the fabulous collection of twiddle-muffs knitted by local people for patients.Untitled-1

The launch was wonderfully prepared for by the Noble’s team, bringing high attendance numbers and warm engagement. As you’ll see from these photos, there were plenty of Butterflies to guide hospital staff to the right place on the day!

In many Butterfly Scheme hospitals and healthcare teams around the UK, there is wonderful collaboration with local Alzheimer’s Society groups and it’s great to see that teamwork and partnership working in action on the Isle of Man.
