Barbara Davies, the Butterfly Scheme Lead for Cardiff and Vale, has a great deal to be proud of. She was also able to report on the following success story.
She says: “Here’s a picture of an extremely enthusiastic group of Health Care Support Workers from our Surgical wards here at the UHW who are driving the Butterfly scheme in their areas. They are the HCSW standards and quality group for General Surgery and cover 5 wards. They are leading the scheme on their wards, getting all staff groups involved and delivering ward based education from the teaching pack and posters.”
The group came up with the idea of baking Butterfly cakes and biscuits to promote their teaching, so when someone had received teaching, they had a cake or biscuit!
